Center, Texas - Today, Rep. Wayne Christian announced he has received an "A" Rating and the reelection endorsement of the National Rifle Association (NRA). Rep. Christian adds their support to his growing list of endorsements, which include the Conservatives for Quality Government (Harrison County), Young Conservatives of Texas, Texas Right to Life PAC, Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC, Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, and the Texas State Rifle Association.
"I have always been a friend to sportsmen and gun owners. I am honored that the NRA has endorsed my candidacy for the new House District 9 and awarded me their highest rating," said Rep. Wayne Christian upon receiving the news. "As a Concealed Handgun License (CHL) holder, I exercise my 2nd Amendment rights daily and take very seriously our rights to hunt and fish, as well as our right to protect ourselves, our families, and our property."
In their endorsement letter the NRA said that their support for Rep. Christian was due to his "strong record of support for the association and on Second Amendment issues in the Texas Legislature."
